Ingredients:
- 4 chicken sausages
- 2 red bell peppers, sliced
- 2 green bell peppers, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Warm up a big pan with olive oil over medium-low heat
It will take about 8 to 10 minutes of cooking after adding the chicken sausages until they are browned on all sides
Take it out of the pan and set it aside
Put the sliced peppers, onions, and garlic in the same pan
It will take about 5 to 7 minutes of sauting until the vegetables are soft
Add salt, pepper, dried oregano, and thyme
Put in the balsamic vinegar and chicken broth
Use a stir to mix
Put the cooked sausages back in the pan and let them simmer for another 5 minutes so the flavors can mix
Before serving, sprinkle with fresh parsley
If you want, you can serve it hot with crusty bread or over pasta
