This sandwich combines tender chicken breasts stuffed with savory bacon and nutritious spinach, all topped with melted Swiss cheese. Its a delicious and satisfying meal thats perfect for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 slices bacon
- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 sandwich buns
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper
Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, then drain on paper towels
In the same skillet, wilt spinach leaves for 2-3 minutes
Place 2 slices of cooked bacon and a handful of wilted spinach on each chicken breast
Top each chicken breast with a slice of Swiss cheese
Fold chicken breasts in half and secure with toothpicks
Bake in preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through
Remove toothpicks before serving
Serve each chicken breast on a sandwich bun
