Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 4 slices of cooked bacon
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Mayonnaise
- Mustard
- Pickles
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper
Mix until well combined
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat
Grill or cook the burger patties for about 6-8 minutes per side or until they are fully cooked and have reached an internal temperature of 165F 74C
During the last few minutes of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each burger patty to melt
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are lightly browned
Assemble the burgers: Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the bottom halves of the toasted buns
Place a lettuce leaf on top, followed by a turkey-chicken patty with melted cheese
Add a slice of bacon, tomato slices, and pickles
Top with the other half of the bun
