Baby Rattle Cake Pops

These adorable Baby Rattle Cake Pops are perfect for baby showers or birthdays. They are not only delicious but also serve as charming edible decorations.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of cake mix flavor of your choice
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup of milk for icing
  • Assorted candy melts in pastel colors
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Edible markers
  • Fondant in various colors
  • Small round cookie cutter
  • Silver or edible glitter for decoration

Instructions:

Bake the cake as directed on the package, then allow it to cool fully

In a large bowl, crumble the cake into fine crumbs

Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter in a different bowl

Mix the cake crumbs into the wet ingredients until thoroughly blended

Form the mixture into tiny cake balls, then arrange them on a tray with lining

Dip the lollipop sticks into the melted candy of various colors, then place them inside the cake balls

Evenly coat each cake pop by dipping it into the melted candy melts

Let extra run off

To set, put the cake pops back on the tray

Blend milk and powdered sugar to make a viscous frosting

Use this to affix fondant shapes and other edible decorations to the cake pops

Let the cake pops air dry fully

Using edible markers, sketch details onto the fondant to make a rattle design for a baby

Add some edible or silver glitter for an added sparkle

Before serving, allow the cake pops to completely dry and set
